What Is Cellar Door?
Cellar Door is Knox College’s Workshop Magazine, that holds the ideas of indulgence in the Creative Process, of Revision as mode of love for art, and of engagement as a literary community at the forefront of all its endeavors. We demand that our submitters show a level of care for their work, that they engage with it and make efforts to better it. All submitters are required to make at least one edit Post-workshop, that is of consequence to their piece. Maybe this edit helps to see the work in a new light. Or maybe it improves tone, or voice, or enhances character. Anything at all.
Just SHOW LOVE FOR YOUR WORK, by showing up for it and revising it.

Cellar Door accepts submissions in Poetry, Fiction, Non-fiction, Drama, and Art.
Our drive is open all year round. However, we do post updates when we are closing drives for a particular edition.

We have been workshopping! To revive the principal of workshop that is integral to the very concept of Cellar Door, we have been trying to make revisions to our publishing model. All the books that we publish, starting winter 2024, will be available here!
